can I get my wisdom tooth out while being pregnant?

I am getting my wisdom tooth out next week, I’m not pregnant yet, but been trying for having a baby, this means when I go for my tooth removal a couple of days later if I do not get my period, I might be pregnant, it means at the time of surgery I could be pregnant, but only two weeks, should I mention this to my dentist? is it important not to take drugs like IV Sedation if u r pregnant? what about the antibiotics that you take after surgery? would that have any effect on pregnancy? what should I do?

Any sedation can be harmful to a fetus. Not only that, but after the surgery, you would be prescribed narcotic painkillers for up to three weeks, which would be even more harmful. I would stop trying now, wait until you know for sure whether or not you’re pregnant, and then make a decision. If you’re not pregnant, then get it taken out, as they can cause serious problems quickly.
